The trick to proper candle burning, is always trimming your candle wick.
Keep your wood wick trimmed to 1/8 inch and your hemp/cotton wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.
You may need to re-trim your wick in between burns for best results.

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS:
Trim wood wick to 1/8 inch before lighting or make sure it is pre-trimmed. Trim hemp/cotton wick to 1/4 inch before lighting or make sure it is pre-trimmed. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Dispose of any contents/containers to approved disposal site in accordance with local regulations.
